Momtazan Industrial Co. served as the main contractor for the Momtazan Kerman Cement Plant project, achieving a national record for the shortest project execution time in Iran. Momtazan Cement Company (Public Joint Stock) was established on August 15, 2002, with a production capacity of 3,300 tons of clinker per day (equivalent to 1 million tons per year). The project was developed to meet regional and national cement demand while creating employment opportunities in Kerman Province. The plant produces Gray Portland Cement in various types, customized according to customer requirements. The limestone mine is located adjacent to the plant site, approximately 400 meters from the main highway. The factory is geographically positioned 32 kilometers along the Kerman–Rafsanjan highway.
